Essential Information
Baggage
The baggage allowance on safari is 15kg, plus one small item of hand luggage. Due to extremely dusty conditions the Company shall not be held responsible for any damage to photo equipment etc.
Client’s Obligation
- It is the onus and responsibility of the client to obtain the necessary comprehensive insurance before departure for any possible cancellations, medical expenses, protection of personal property and money.
- Bateleur Safaris provides for passenger liability, but personal insurances are not included and should be arranged by tourists prior to entering Namibia.
The following camping equipment is included in each safari.
- Canvas Dome tents of 2.1m x 2.1 meter (tents are shared)
- Bundu camping chairs
- Waterproof fold up mattresses (163cm x 65cm x 7cm)
- Cooking equipment
Sleeping bags are not included in safaris and can be hired at N$15.00 per sleeping bag per night.
The following are not included in safaris / tours :
- Air travel
- Transfers
- Visas
- Personal travel insurance
- Alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and bottled or mineral water
- Sleeping bags
- Pillows & towels
- Tips & spending money
- All other items of a personal nature
- Anything else that is not stated as included
